This is our second year displaying the works of Tree Riviera, creator of Make Art Matter. Tree has such a great heart and loves to be creative with kids. She has been a huge supporter and team member for the Freedom Arts Fest, and also graciously lends some of her works for display. Here is a photo of Tree and one of her sculpture pieces that we have on display (picture taken at a different gallery).

“Make Art Matter, Inc is a company that works to strongly support, and grow a culture of young environmentalist through the development and implantation of collaborative eco- art programs and productions.
It is the mission of Make Art Matter, Inc to work with schools and community based organizations to start up eco art-projects that bridge environmental education, field trips and the arts. The programs are developed to bring youth together with conservationists, artists, and environmentalists who desire to inspire youth. It is our goal to teach students to use their voices and creativity in civic exhibition by contributing an environmental message to community arts and culture. Students collaborate to use art as a solution, acreative outlet, and to lead young people to further understanding our ecological concerns.”

At The Well we love to display works from local artists and friends. Right now we are lucky enough to have works up from four separate artists.
Our Current gallery artists are Gwendolyn Pogrowski and Tree Riviera. We also have work from our friends and staff Paul and Naphtali Cope.
Today’s Featured Artist is Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn is a talented artist currently from Santa Cruz, but loves to be in Hawaii. She is a multitalented woman who works in Acrylic and mixed media to create her beautiful works. We currently have Nine of Gwendolyn’s pieces on display inside the Well.
